Secretary birds are easily identifiable by the long crests of feathers on their heads and the bright orange and yellow coloring of their faces.

These birds can weigh up to ten pounds and stand up to four feet tall.

Two pairs of secretary birds recently arrived to the Denver Zoo from Tanzania. There are only 29 secretary birds in accredited zoos in the United States
