General Comments: Simon easily could have been named "Shadow", because wherever you go, he's a half step behind you! His foster parents say he is great company, and with Simon around, it's impossible to feel lonely. Simon is a wonderful dog who is housetrained, playful, and well behaved inside the house. One of his all time favorite things to do is snuggle with his people, especially on the couch. If you asked Simon, he would say the world would be a better place if it only revolved around him. :) Yep, it's Simon's world, and he wants to be the center of your universe! When he wants attention and sitting there looking adorable isn't doing the trick, he lets out a pathetic, yet endearing whine that's dogspeak for, "hey! You're not paying attention to ME! Doggy lovins are needed! " Second on his fun list is playing with toys, squeaky toys to be more specific- the squeakier, the better! He loves to race around the house with them and make them squeal. He has also tried to entice his foster canine sibling to play, but she's not interested in his charms thus far. We also think that Simon has become a "copy cat" when watching his kitty cat foster sister, as he has now become a champion cricket catcher! Really, what dog catches crickets???? Well Simon apparently! If you're not in the market for an exterminator, we "hear" Simon could also double as an antenna with those ears of his! :) Who needs a satellite dish with this guy around? When he perks them upright, he is just too cute for words. We think he knows this about himself, and he's not afraid to use it to his advantage. Yep, this boy is all about charm, so don't fight it, you don't have a prayer when he's around! Simon is an awesome little companion, and would do well with another playful dog, or as a one an only as long as his family had lots and lots of time to devote to him. It IS his world remember, and he insists on being loved and cherished for the special little soul he is. If you think you can offer him all that's wonderful in life, Simon says, fill out your application today; he's waiting!
My Ideal Home looks like: Undetermined.
RESCUE History: Simon was rescued from West side Animal care and control. He was listed as a stray, and when nobody came forward to claim him, he was placed up for adoption. After serving his "sentence" with no adoption interest, he was then scheduled to be put to sleep; that is of course until RESCUE stepped in!

General Comments: Molly loves to play with her foster brothers!! Molly is learning to sit and come when she is called. She loves to eat and hasn't turned down anything yet. We feed her separately from the other dogs since she tries to help herself to the other dogs' food when she is done with her own. :0 Molly loves to cuddle up next to you at the end of the day! When her foster mom brought her into the vet to have her spayed she had gained a couple of healthy pounds. Molly is still has some puppy habits like - chewing on shoes, so you may have to put away if she comes to live with you! Just think of it as Molly's way of "helping" to keep things neat and tidy! While she is in foster care with cats, ideally a home without them would be great since she doesn't understand when the cats don't want to play - she keeps pestering them! :) Molly is a great little dog with a lot of energy and love to give. She loves to play so much with her "brothers" that we are requiring she have another dog in the house, however, we are strongly recommending a male. Molly is also not suitable for apartment or townhome living. She just needs a home to love her forever and help her become a well mannered adult doggie! In return she will be your lifelong devoted canine friend!
My Ideal Home looks like: Adult home only.
RESCUE History: Molly weighed 8 lbs when we rescued her.
